Description
Scope of application
The video signal lightning protection device is mainly used for the surge protection of the cable TV transmission system of the coaxial cable transmission line and the CCTV video monitoring system equipment (such as hard disk recorders, matrixes, optical transceivers, and cameras). It can prevent the above types of system equipment from being struck by lightning or industrial noise, such as induced over-voltage, over-current phenomenon and other instantaneous surge voltage causing permanent damage or instant interruption to the system or equipment.
Product advantages
■ Large flow capacity and long service life;
■ Adopt multi-level protection, low residual pressure and good protection effect;
■ Low insertion loss, superior transmission performance;
■ Built-in fast semiconductor protection device, nanosecond response speed;
■ Energy saving, environmental protection, rack structure, easy installation;

Installation and maintenance:
1. The video signal surge protector can be installed in the LPZ0-1 zone or directly at the front end of the protected equipment (or system). The closer it is to the protected equipment (or system), the better.
2. IN" is connected to the lead end, and "OUT" is connected to the end of the protected equipment (or system). During installation, the lines at both ends must be laid separately and cannot be tied together to prevent secondary induction.
3. The grounding of the surge protector is connected with the shortest possible wire. There are two ways to ground the protector:
(1) Indirectly: Use the surge protector shell to directly connect with the shielding layer of the cable.
(2) Direct ground: Use the ground wire from the shell of the surge protector as the ground wire. The ground wire must be connected to the lightning protection ground wire (or the casing of the protected equipment).
4. The surge protector does not need long-term maintenance when installed under the conditions not exceeding the requirements, only routine maintenance of the system. If there is a problem with signal transmission during use, the signal transmission returns to normal after replacing the surge protector, indicating that the surge protector has been damaged and needs to be repaired or replaced.
